Microsoft will now power Yahoo! search while Yahoo! will become the exclusive worldwide relationship sales force for both companies’ premium search advertisers. The term of the agreement is 10 years.

Google mentions that the deal is not a merger but rather, Google are merely providing access to their advertising technology to Yahoo! through their AdSense program.
