Google has a new favicon since a few days ago. And by far, it’s not the prettiest logo you’ll find in the Internet. By incorporating so many colors into an icon, Google defeats its own objective of simplicity.
The new favicon only appears in Google’s sub pages like Google Maps, Google Images and so on but does not appear in their homepage or even in iGoogle appears in every Google products.

It just doesn’t make me think of Google when I see it.. but perhaps that’s what they’re going for because they definitely need an image change as they’re beginning to seem like “gangsters” monopolizing the whole net!
